The X-Scooter Sierra range is fully modular by design. This means that owners of a standard body who find they need additional range, can simply buy a long body and an extra battery, re-using their existing battery and tail section. This enables the diver to switch between the two body types depending on the requirements of the dive.
The Standard Body X-Scooter Sierra is an ideal scooter for travelling as the supplied Ni-Mh batteries are accepted by airlines. The scooter, charger & battery all fit into its specially designed lightweight wheeled travel case (the 'X-Pack') and still come in within current airline baggage restrictions. The 'X-Pack' is included with all new standard body Sierra DPVs and it is available separately via the shop for existing owners.
The scooter is powered by a brushless motor which features a built in trigger shift on the fly system. There are many accessories available for the X-Scooter, check out the 'X-Scooter Accessories' page in the online store.
The X-Scooter Sierra pack includes: X-Scooter Sierra including tow cord, NiMh battery, charger, soft wheeled travel case ('X-Pack') spares kit, owners DVD and mask strap. We can pre-weight the scooter for the cost of the lead used for salt water and for fresh water.
The X-Scooter Cuda pack includes: X-Scooter Cuda 550 including tow cord, 42v 550Wh NiMh X-Scooter Battery, charger, spares kit, owners DVD and mask strap. We can pre-weight the scooter for the cost of the lead used for salt water and for fresh water.
Please specify in the comments at checkout which style you would like. The "Flowers" Cuda is a special order item. This will take around a week to be delivered.
The X-Scooter Sierra is a light, powerful, manoeuvrable scooter. At 16kgs for the standard body, it is the lightest expedition class scooter available and is also superb for travelling. The scooter provides plenty of power for any kind of diving; recreational diving, wreck diving or cave diving.

The CSI X-Scooter features a built-in X-View camera. This is a specially designed low light hi resolution externally mounted camera which can video automatically, and requires no additional lighting. The camera is then connected inside the X-Scooter body to a compatible recording device, such as a video camera with RCA input or Archos or other recording device.

The Long Body Sierra allows for additional range and speed due to having a second battery pack. The Long Body Sierra weighs 25kgs. The X-Scooter Sierra range is fully modular by design. This means that owners of a long body can simply buy a standard body and reuse one of their existing batteries and tail section to create a standard Sierra which is easier to pack and lighter for travelling. This enables the diver to switch between the two body types depending on the requirements/location of the dive.

The Cuda 650 delivers 18% more range than the Cuda 550 or 5.8 miles. It weighs 24Kg and has a charge time of 6 hours (from complete discharge).

The Cuda 850 delivers 55% more range than the Cuda 550 or 7.6 miles. It weighs 28Kg and has a charge time of 7 hours (from complete discharge).
